He said that God had chosen someone after God's own heart. What does that mean? Saul took matters into his own hands and didn't repent when confronted. David, (whom was the man "after God's own heart") also took matters into his own hands, but when confronted, fell on his face before God in confession and repentance. Perhaps this is what God meant.
